PRinHR is the trading name of The PR Department Ltd. We exist to support effective communications between our clients and journalist contacts. At times, this means we also work with our client’s clients if they are interested in communicating their work to the media and their audiences.
Ours is a people business, so we hold basic information such as names, contact telephone and email addresses about clients, their relevant employees, their clients as well as journalists. In doing so, we are communicating our clients’ work with journalists, who like to be informed about market developments. We only pass data to other people with the express permission of each contact.
We nurture and maintain connections with journalists. We also use a service called ResponseSource which 'collects and processes journalist and PR data for our legitimate interest in providing services which help journalists and PRs work with each other. These services serve the interests of both PR professionals, who wish to share information about the organisations they represent, and journalists who wish to keep informed on what is happening in the sectors they cover. This is known as media relations and is a well-established practice'. It is very simple for journalists to opt-out of our notifications - either through ResponseSource or directly through us.
